Job summary

Clean Harbors in Gilroy, CA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a range of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs. The role includes non-driving duties and hazardous waste cleanup responsibilities on and off client sites.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Triple/doubles endorsement
• Ability to obtain Hazmat within 90 days of employment
• Minimum of three years of experience including one year of Tanker experience
• Ability to use various mobile devices
• Perform physical functions per job requirements
• Successful background check, drug test, and medical exam by position

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of Class A trucks including vacuum, Cuscos, guzzlers and roll offs
• Loading/unloading of trucks and manual labor on site
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets and reports
• Comply with DOT, local/state/federal regulations
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis
• Site remediation and hazardous materials handling as required
