Job summary

Cavalier Logistics is seeking a full-time Class A CDL driver with Hazmat endorsement for local and over-the-road deliveries. You will operate tractor-trailer equipment, ensure safety, and deliver product to customers on schedule.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience, a clean driving record, ability to lift 40 pounds, and passing a drug test and background check. Benefits include health, dental/vision, life insurance, 401(k), and EAP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Hold CDL Class A license with Hazmat Endorsement.
• Good driving record.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal and excellent customer service skills are required.
• Must pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor-trailer combination or truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 GVW to transport and deliver both general, dangerous goods and specialized cargo.
• Local and over the road delivery of both general, dangerous goods and specialized freight in accordance with DOT regulations and SOPs.
• Maintain logs of activities in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Report information to dispatcher regarding road conditions, weather, and other situations that may affect delivery deadlines.
