Job summary

Cavalier Logistics, Inc. is seeking a dedicated CDL Class A truck driver with Hazmat endorsement for local and over-the-road deliveries. You will operate tractor-trailers, maintain logs per DOT regulations, and ensure safe, timely delivery of products to customers.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift 40 pounds; drug tests and background checks are required, with health and retirement benefits provided.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with Hazmat endorsement is required.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• Must pass drug test and background check.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor-trailer or truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 GVW to transport and deliver general, dangerous goods and specialized cargo.
• Local and over the road deliveries in accordance with DOT regulations and SOPs to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain logs of hours driven and vehicle condition per DOT regulations.
• Report information to dispatcher regarding road conditions, weather, mechanical or other important situations affecting delivery deadlines.
