Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking an experienced CDL-A driver in North Carolina to operate tractor/trailer units for hazardous material pickups and deliveries. You’ll ensure load safety and regulatory compliance while using Samsara and ePOD devices for documentation and routing.

The role requires HazMat/Tanker endorsements, 2+ years of CDL-A experience, and the ability to lift heavy loads. Benefits include health and retirement programs, with competitive pay and annual reviews.

Qualifications

• Legal driver with CDL-A and HazMat/Tanker endorsements.
• Ability to read, write, count, and speak English.
• Must meet DOT physical requirements and pass drug testing.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds and handle heavy drums.
• Experience in hazardous materials delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a tractor/trailer for pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure safety and compliance of loads with regulations.
• Utilize Samsara e-Logging Device for driver status and routing.
• Use ePOD to capture delivery receipts and shipment docs.
• Perform other duties to support deliveries and pickups.
