Job summary

Veolia is seeking an Environmental Technician to consolidate, treat, store, and dispose of hazardous waste in compliance with regulations. You will maintain records, package materials for transport, and assist in material storage.

The role requires forklift operation and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Responsibilities include accurate documentation and collaboration with the team to ensure safe, efficient waste management across approved sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to stand/walk on uneven surfaces.
• Visual and depth perception for equipment operation.
• Ability to hear warning signals; PPE use.
• Outdoor work in all weather; indoor non-climate areas.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate, treat, store, pack, transport and dispose of hazardous waste following regulations.
• Maintain detailed, accurate records.
• Segregate and package materials for transport.
• Assist in inventory/storage of hazardous materials.
• Operate forklifts and move containers within storage/treatment areas.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
