Job summary

Veolia North America is recruiting a hazardous waste handler for our Lancaster, TX facility, joining a team responsible for consolidation, treatment, storage and disposal of hazardous waste per environmental regulations.

The role requires lifting 50 pounds, operating a forklift, and completing documentation. You will wear PPE and work outdoors in all weather, with opportunities to learn regulations and advance within a large environmental services leader.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk on uneven surfaces.
• Willingness to wear PPE and work outdoors/indoors.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate, treat, store, transport and/or dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with regulations.
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Operate a forklift and other mobile equipment to move containers.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
