Job summary

ATI, Inc. is seeking a full-time Environmental Technician in Springfield, Virginia to support solid and hazardous waste management at a government facility. The ideal candidate has at least three years in a similar role, U.S. citizenship for clearance, and a 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar environmental role.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with solid and hazardous waste management at a Government facility.
• Place and label hazardous waste drums at Satellite Accumulation Areas.
• Transport hazardous waste from SAA to Hazardous Waste Building as needed.
• Inspect/storage conditions to regulatory standards and document findings.
• Conduct inventories of hazardous materials and report status to Government.
• Coordinate solid and universal waste pickups; assist in maintenance tasks.
