Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a hands-on Hazardous Materials Technician to join our team in Boise, Idaho. You will consolidate, treat, store, transport and dispose of hazardous waste while adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements.

The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds, operating a forklift, and completing all documentation accurately. The position requires 2+ years of hazardous materials experience, a high school diploma or GED, and basic computer skills for training and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior experience working with hazardous materials.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to operate equipment, including a forklift and pallet jack.
• Basic computer skills to complete training and documentation.
• Ability to understand and respond to written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate, treat, store, transport and/or dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Move containers using forklift and other equipment between storage and treatment areas.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Work a physically active schedule including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Attend scheduled hours, with potential nights, weekends, and variable shifts as needed.
