Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking entry-level Medical Waste InSite Technicians to perform a range of on-site waste handling tasks. You will make pickups, bulk and consolidate waste, and ensure proper packaging and labeling for compliance.

Training and career growth opportunities are provided in a safety-first environment across multiple facilities. The role emphasizes operating equipment like forklifts, conducting waste sampling, and supporting spill responses, with emphasis on safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test and physical.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Hep B vaccination preferred or required.
• Healthcare experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Make medical waste pickups at customer facilities.
• Conduct chemical bulking and consolidation.
• Package and label medical waste products for efficiency and compliance.
• Assist in spill response on customer sites as needed.
• Operate forklifts and inspect drums for integrity and compliance.
• Ensure safe loading/unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Complete waste stream sampling and profiling.

Responsibilities:

Medical Waste InSiteTechnicians perform a wide range of tasks, including:

• Making medical waste pickups throughout a customer’s facility.
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation.
• Packaging and labeling medical waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
• Participating in spill response on customer’s site as needed.
• Operating forklifts.
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.
