Job summary

Clean Harbors is hiring a Hazardous Material Technician I to support the CleanPack and Treatment and Disposal segments. On site in Kentucky, you will help package waste, ensure safety compliance and support spill response on customer sites. You will also assist with waste sampling and device operation in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to follow directions across tasks.
• Ability to interface with customers on site.
• Perform physical functions as required by the job.
• Successfully complete background check, drug test, and physical as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Safely package waste to maximize efficiency and compliance.
• Maintain a neat, orderly work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Support spill response on customer sites when needed.
• Operate forklifts and load/unload waste hauling vehicles safely.
• Conduct waste stream sampling and profiling as required.
