MPS Group, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Technician to join our team at the GM Tech Center in Warren, MI. You will handle solid and hazardous waste at the plant and support daily operations on the 1st shift.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and one year of waste management experience. A background check and drug test are required, with preferred certifications potentially provided after hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year experience in waste management.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Collect trash, recyclables, hazardous waste, scrap metal, and other waste streams and transport to disposal containers or storage rooms.
• Segregate, sort, and package waste streams for off-site shipment per EPA requirements.
• Load semi-trailers and roll-off boxes for shipment to landfills and recycling centers.
