A logistics support services firm is seeking a Hazardous Waste & Turn-In Technician to support the U.S. Army Sustainment Command. This full-time exempt role is responsible for hazardous waste management, compliance with regulations, and coordination of logistics tasks at Fort Bliss, TX. Qualifications
3–5 years hazardous waste handling experience; DoD installation experience preferred.
HAZWOPER certification required; CDL preferred if transporting materials.
U.S. citizenship and capability to obtain a federal security clearance.
Responsibilities
Coordinate hazardous waste accumulation, prepare manifest and disposal documents.
Sort returned hazardous materials into reusable, serviceable, or waste categories.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and reporting requirements.
Maintain reliability program compliance; track certifications and training.
Coordinate background and eligibility documentation.
Support the Hazardous Waste & Reuse Center with 30‑day storage control and other logistic tasks.
Coordinate with Installation Environmental Office prior to disposal.
