Job summary

MPS Group, Inc. seeks a Resource Manager to join our team at the GM Factory Zero Complex in Detroit, MI. You will coordinate all on-site activities related to the storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The role requires strong logistics skills, safety leadership and the ability to manage contracts, budgets and personnel. Mon-Fri 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental or technical field or minimum two years waste experience.
• Experience in hazardous and solid waste industry.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for transportation of hazardous, universal, and non-hazardous waste at the client site.
• Assist with client and vendor invoicing, reporting and contracts.
• Promote safety culture and regulatory compliance at the worksite.
• Track production, budget variance, and report to the Regional Manager.
• Identify out-of-scope work and assist with cost quoting.
• Supervise personnel to fulfill contract requirements.
