Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Truck to Truck Technician to safely move, load, unload, palletize, and transfer waste containers using a forklift. This role supports material flow between company facilities, hubs, treatment plants, and generator locations while ensuring compliance with DOT, RCRA, and safety standards.

You will assist with transportation coordination, manifest tracking, and maintaining accurate operational records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–3 years of experience in warehouse operations preferred.
• Forklift certification or forklift operating experience required.
• DOT and RCRA training required.
• OSHA 24-hour or 40-hour HAZWOPER certification with annual refresher training required.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer applications.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in an industrial environment.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, climbing, and material handling.

Responsibilities

• Offload, palletize, stage, and reload waste materials using a forklift.
• Coordinate loads between hubs, treatment facilities, and outbound destinations.
• Ensure transportation activities comply with storage permits and regulatory requirements.
• Dispatch transportation from hub locations.
• Assist with tracking hazardous waste manifest return timelines.
• Maintain Hub Management databases and Outlook records.
• Safely operate forklifts while following Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business operations.
