Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Lab Pack Specialist to join our Lab Services team.

This role handles the safe handling, categorization, packaging, and transportation of hazardous waste, with emphasis on regulatory compliance, documentation, and client interaction. Based in Astoria, NY, it reports to the Operations Manager and is on-site. The position requires lifting, manifests, vendor coordination, and regional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the hazardous-waste industry, or related military experience.
• Ability to work in a team or individually.
• Strong communication ( verbal and written ) with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex issues and implement solutions.
• Ability to build strong client and colleague relationships.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid US driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Consent to MVR, background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening (THC).
• Willingness to travel regionally and obtain a CDL Hazmat endorsement.

Responsabilités

• Conduct onsite evaluations to assess hazardous waste materials.
• Safely pack and segregate chemicals and waste for transport and disposal.
• Prepare and label containers per regulations and policies.
• Document waste disposal with manifests and shipping documents.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and regulators on waste processes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Monitor inventory of waste materials and supplies.
• Oversee lab moves, packing, loading, and unloading of hazardous materials.
• Respond to emergencies involving hazardous materials.
• Operate Triumvirate vehicles (Class C) safely for transport.
