Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America in Harleyville, SC, is seeking a safety-focused hazardous waste technician. You will safely collect, transport, store, and process hazardous materials in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements, inspecting containers, maintaining records, and supporting EH&S initiatives.

This role requires physical work in an industrial setting, PPE compliance, and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect, transport, store, and process hazardous waste per procedures and regulations.
• Inspect, label, and prepare hazardous waste containers for storage, shipment, and disposal.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for hazardous waste handling and compliance.
• Conduct routine inspections of storage areas and equipment to identify safety concerns.
• Support EH&S initiatives by promoting safe work practices and responding to operational needs.
