Job summary

Univar Solutions USA LLC is seeking an Environmental Field Specialist II in Denver, CO to oversee waste management activities, perform instrument maintenance, and ensure compliance with RCRA, EPA, and DOT requirements at customer sites.

You will manage paperwork for hazardous waste shipments, coordinate TSDF submissions, and schedule regular pickups. A CDL may be required, with opportunities to develop certifications and advance within the Total Rewards program.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, UVX, and AS400; ability to use Access for data management and reports.
• Ability to classify waste per RCRA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Ability to learn handling hazardous materials and wastes.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instruments and perform daily readiness checks.
• Understand and apply RCRA, DOT, and EPA regulations for hazardous waste handling.
• Prepare paperwork for shipping hazardous waste and coordinate TSDF submissions.
• Complete site inspections and audits; arrange sample submissions to TSDF.
• Coordinate pickups and transport for customer wastes; maintain pickup calendars.
• Maintain profiles with TSDF and resolve issues with sales and customers.
