Job summary

Clean Harbors in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Environmental Field Laborer to join our safety-conscious team. This role will perform hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials in the field.

Responsibilities include following safety policies, performing physical labor, operating equipment, and wearing PPE in all weather conditions. On-call emergency response is required on a rotating basis, with opportunities for growth and

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects.
• On-call emergency response duties may extend weekends/holidays and can exceed 8 hours.
• Background check, drug test, and medical examination may be required by position.
• Must adhere to OSHA Respiratory Protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies to ensure health and safety is the top priority.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor and operate equipment and tools as needed.
• Wear and use PPE correctly in various conditions.
• Work outdoors in all weather and potentially hazardous environments.
• Assist in field sampling and meter calibration.
• Climb ladders/scaffolding and enter tanks/containers.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Comply with all regulatory and company guidelines.
