Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems in Front Royal, VA is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support the production line. You will operate bulk paint loading and manufacturing equipment, follow batch cards, measure and weigh raw materials, and adhere to safety and environmental standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials handling is advantageous.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain bulk paint loading and manufacturing equipment.
• Follow batch cards, written instructions, and SOPs to produce quality products.
• Measure, weigh, and handle raw materials used in production.
• Follow plant safety standards, policies, and environmental requirements.
• Safely handle hazardous materials and manage hazardous waste per site policies.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on production equipment; escalate as needed.
• Use computer systems and production equipment software to support operations.
• Maintain production quality and documentation; adapt to changing priorities.
