Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking Chemical Loaders at our Baton Rouge site to safely load and unload liquid hazardous materials into railcars and trucks, following all company and customer procedures.

Responsibilities include positioning and securing vehicles, inspecting for safety and regulatory compliance, wearing PPE, monitoring weights, and communicating with site leadership to ensure a smooth, compliant transfer process. This role offers on-site work with training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must follow OSHA safety standards and be safety conscious.
• Possess and maintain TWIC card and valid driver's license.
• Must be 18 years old and legally able to work in the US.
• Pass drug screening, physical and background check.
• Demonstrated stable work history with references from previous employers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure railcars/trucks are positioned and secured at the loading rack.
• Conduct visual inspection for defects or hazards before loading.
• Wear required PPE to ensure personal safety during transfer.
• Connect loading equipment and transfers per procedures using gauges/equipment.
• Monitor product weight before/after transfer to meet DOT requirements.
• Maintain open communication with site leaders and report issues.
• Safely disconnect loading equipment and inspect for leaks or abnormalities.
• Complete required paperwork before releasing the vehicle.
