Precise Systems seeks a Chemical Agent Analytical Chemist with 3-5 years of laboratory experience to support the initial hazard assessment of hazardous compounds by evaluating synthesis routes, properties, and stability. The role involves analyzing samples using GC, GC-MS, LC-MS, and LC-MS/MS, with knowledge of thermal desorption and pyrolysis beneficial.

Formación

• 3-5 years of practical laboratory experience.
• Hands-on experience with mass spectrometry, gas chromatography, and liquid chromatography.
• Experience with sample preparation for complex matrices.
• Meticulous documentation and SOP drafting.
• Ability to work independently and in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Routinely perform instrumental analysis and controlled environmental-exposure experiments for known and suspected toxic compounds.
• Analyze samples from vapor, soil, water, and tissue for target compounds and degradation products using GC, GC-MS, LC-MS, LC-MS/MS.
• Prepare analytical standards for instrument calibration and verification requirements.
• Determine and evaluate chemical properties such as vapor pressure, solubility, density, and stability.
• Develop, revise, and maintain laboratory procedures, test plans, and technical reports.
• Support lab management with equipment inventory, chemical tracking, and waste-disposal coordination.
