Job summary

International Community Health Services (ICHS) is seeking a HAWP Quality and Compliance Analyst in Seattle, WA. This full-time professional role supports the Healthy Aging and Wellness Program (PACE and Assisted Living), leading audit readiness initiatives and coordinating internal and external quality audits.

The Analyst develops CAPs/PIPs, maintains HIPAA/privacy policies, leads privacy investigations and FWA reporting, and serves as the liaison between Quality, Compliance, and Operations to

  • Bachelor’s degree required in health admin, nursing, public health, or related field.
  • 3–5 years in healthcare compliance, audits, or quality improvement.
  • Familiarity with CMS audits and PACE or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead audit readiness initiatives and coordinate quality audits.
  • Develop and monitor corrective action plans (CAPs) and performance improvement plans (PIPs).
  • Maintain HIPAA/Privacy policies and lead HIPAA/Privacy case investigations; FWA reporting and exclusion screening oversight.
  • Coordinate and facilitates QoC communications and RCA meetings with contracted providers.

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the HAWP Quality and Compliance Officer, the Quality and Compliance Analyst assists in developing, maintaining, and providing daily oversight of the Quality and Compliance Program for the Healthy Aging and Wellness Program (HAWP), which consists of the Program of AllInclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) and Assisted Living. This position leads audit readiness initiatives, coordinates internal and external compliance and quality audits, and develops, coordinates, tracks, and monitors corrective action plans (CAPs) and performance improvement plans (PIPs) and provides recommendations to the Quality and Compliance Officer regarding approval, effectiveness, and closure. They assist in the development and maintenance of HIPAA/Privacy policies and leads HIPAA/Privacy case investigations; fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) reporting, exclusion screening oversight, and contract monitoring.

The Analyst supports the PACE Quality Improvement Committee (QIC) andAssisted Living Quality Assurance (QA) Committee, gathers community input on ethical decision-making and end-of-life issues as required under 42 CFR §460.138, and coordinates and facilitates Quality of Care (QoC) communications and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) meetings with contracted providers. This role ensures compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements, policies and procedures, and employment laws and regulations, and serves as the primary coordinator between Quality, Compliance, and Operations on related projects.

This role is an integral part of the Quality and Compliance team and will coordinate with leaders across the organization, and must be able to communicate effectively, have initiative, and be a team player.

Education

- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or other related field required. Master's Degree preferred. Four (4) years of relevant work experience may be substituted for the required degree.

Experience

- Three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare compliance, auditing, quality improvement, regulatory affairs, risk management, healthcare operations, or a related field required. Experience conducting audits, investigations, risk assessments, corrective action planning, monitoring activities, and data analysis required.

Experience with healthcare regulatory requirements, including Medicare and Medicaid preferred. Experience in a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), managed care, long-term care, senior services, or other healthcare setting preferred. Familiarity with CMS audits, healthcare compliance programs, quality improvement activities, or interdisciplinary care models preferred.

Other Requirement(s)

- Position is primarily in-office, with the possibility of remote work based on business needs and management approval. Professional certifications including Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC), Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC), and/or Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
