Job summary

Alerion Aviation seeks an experienced Captain to lead Hawker 800XP charter and owner flights from Opa‑locka, FL, following FAA rules and company procedures. You will plan flights, review performance and weight and balance, and manage weather, NOTAMs, and fuel strategy for international legs when required.

Ideal candidates hold ATP (unrestricted/restricted), First Class FAA Medical, 4,000 total hours with 3,000 PIC and 3,000 multi‑engine hours; HS‑125 rating or equivalent preferred; valid

Qualifications

• ATP certificate (unrestricted or restricted accepted).
• First Class FAA Medical.
• Total flight time: 4,000 hours.
• PIC hours: 3,000 hours (all aircraft).
• Multi-engine hours: 3,000 hours.
• HS-125 Hawker 800-series type rating or comparable preferred.
• Passport permitting unrestricted international travel.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• No accidents, incidents, or FAA violations within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Captain Hawker 800XP flights in full compliance with FAR Part 135/91 requirements and company policies.
• Prioritize safety, regulatory compliance, and exceptional passenger service.
• Plan and execute flights including performance, weight and balance, weather/NOTAM review, fuel strategy and international considerations.
• Lead crew briefings, coordinate with dispatch/maintenance, and communicate with clients and stakeholders.
• Complete accurate flight logs, reports and required documentation.
