Job summary

AVITA Medical is seeking an experienced independent contractor in Hawaii to represent our acute wound care portfolio, including RECELL, Cohealyx, and PermeaDerm, across hospital settings. You will leverage established relationships to accelerate access, evaluation, and adoption, while engaging burn, plastic, trauma surgeons and OR leadership.

You will provide in-person procedural support, lead in-services and training, and collaborate with commercial, clinical, market access, and reimbursement

Qualifications

• Five or more years of successful hospital-based medical device or biologics sales experience.
• Ability to sell clinically complex products into the operating room and acute care environment.
• Strong relationships within Hawaii hospitals and health systems; Honolulu market access preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent AVITA Medical’s acute wound care portfolio across Hawaii, with a focus on RECELL®, Cohealyx™, and PermeaDerm®.
• Call on burn surgeons, plastic surgeons, trauma surgeons, wound care specialists, OR leadership, service line leaders, supply chain, and hospital administration.
• Provide in-person operating room case coverage and procedural support, including product preparation, handling, and workflow education.
• Lead in-services, product demonstrations, training sessions, and follow-up education for physicians, nurses, and clinical teams.
• Support account development, VAC submissions, formulary access, product evaluations, and conversion to routine use.
• Identify high-value opportunities across burn centers, trauma programs, plastics, surgical departments, and wound care services.
