Job summary

E2 Consulting Engineers, LP is seeking a Utility Distribution Planner to support major electric utility clients. The role focuses on reviewing applications, coordinating with stakeholders, preparing cost estimates and bills of materials, and delivering construction-ready job packages.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology or equivalent.
• 6-8 years of utility distribution planning experience.
• Familiarity with utility infrastructure planning workflows (application review, RFI, cost estimating).
• Working knowledge of NESC or similar standards.
• Ability to perform field inspections and document findings.

Responsibilities

• Provide project oversight and mentorship.
• Review electric service applications for overhead/underground installations.
• Review and comment on project submittals through the lifecycle.
• Respond to RFIs in a timely manner.
• Prepare initial BOMs and cost estimates.
