Haven Health Globe in Arizona is seeking a full-time Cook to assist the Dietary Manager with safe, timely meal preparation according to the facility menu. The Cook must follow sanitary and safety guidelines and help ensure meals meet dietary budgets and resident needs.

Responsibilities include preparing appetizing meals, maintaining cleanliness, and complying with state and federal food safety standards. Must be able to speak/read/write English and lift up to 50 pounds.

Formación

• Food Handler's Permit required in counties
• Fingerprinting Clearance Card (or eligible to obtain)
• Background screening, licensure verification (if applicable), reference check, drug testing
• Tuberculosis testing
• Employee health screening (conducted after hire)
• Ability to move, lift and transfer a minimum of 50 pounds
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English

Description

The Cook works under the direction of the Dietary Manager and is responsible for the safe and timely preparation of food in accordance with the established facility menu. The Cook shall prepare the food in and sanitary and safe manor in accordance with food safety standards along with federal and state guidelines as it pertains to food preparation. The cook is also responsible for the preparation of appetizing food that adheres to the dietary budget.
