Job summary

Six Flags Carowinds seeks energetic scare actors for SCarowinds, its Halloween event in Charlotte, NC. Join the Terror Team to portray characters, perform dynamic gestures, and deliver exciting scares while prioritizing safety and guest enjoyment.

Responsibilities include live-character performances, vocal expression, and consistency with themed personas across shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Show us your drop-dead talent and prowl our midways with your fellow undead. Candidates must be energetic, dedicated, exercise good judgment and remain safety conscious at all times.

Positions are currently available for those who are 16 or older.

Responsibilities

As part of the SCarowinds Terror Team, daily assigned duties vary & may include tasks such as:

· Scare guests of all ages without touching by using the element of surprise

· Entertain guests as a costumed character by bringing to life the personality of the specific character through hand/body movements and strong vocalization where applicable

· Develop gestures and movements unique to the character to make our guests scream in terror

· Wear complete costume, makeup, and/or mask provided as assigned.

· Maintain a healthy and FUN scare experience for guests and fellow monsters
