Job summary

Camelback Resort in Tannersville, PA is seeking a Stage Crew Associate to help bring the Haunted Camelbeach Attractions to life behind the scenes. You’ll reset scenes and props between guest groups, assist performers, maintain flow, and support daily operations in a dark theatrical environment.

Ideal candidates are 18 or older with strong teamwork, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and available on evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Reset scenes and props between guest groups while following safety standards and venue protocols.
• Set-up and teardown of props and scenery.
• Ensure props and scenic elements are secured and stored after events.
• Assist actors with entrances, exits, and scene transitions.
• Inspect sets and props for safety and functionality.
• Keep attraction areas clean, organized, and guest ready.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Communicate operational or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain backstage organization and equipment.

Description

Job Title: Stage Crew Associate

Department: Haunted Camelbeach Attractions

Reports to: Haunted Attraction Supervisor

Help bring the attraction to life behind the scenes! As a Stage Crew Associate, you'll ensure each scene operates smoothly by resetting props, assisting performers, maintaining attraction flow, and supporting daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Reset scenes and props between guest groups, strictly adhering to all workplace safety standards, proper lifting techniques, and established venue protocols.
• Set-up, dismantle, teardown of props and scenery.
• Ensure all props and scenic elements are properly positioned, secured, removed, and stored following each event.
• Assist actors with entrances, exits, and scene transitions.
• Inspect sets and props for safety and functionality.
• Keep attraction areas clean, organized, and guest ready.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding operational or safety concerns.
• Help maintain backstage organization and equipment.
• Assist with emergency procedures when necessary.
• Comply with all Company and departmental safety standards.
• Follow Company and departmental dress code.
• Adhere to the Customer Service Standards of Camelback Resort and all Company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Follow seasonal and daily Service Guidelines and Checklists.
• Communicate effectively with all Camelback Resort team members.
• Actively support all Company initiatives.
