Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Hauling Operations to oversee hauling activities across multiple lines of business in a geographic area. You will supervise drivers and helpers, implement safety programs, and partner with management to meet safety, customer experience, and efficiency goals.

The role emphasizes leadership, processes, and a strong focus on safety and employee engagement, with responsibilities spanning safety, customer service, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Lead safety goals, remove unsafe conditions, partner with sales and maintenance to ensure safe operations.
• Customer Experience: Meet or exceed customer expectations, address missed pickups, resolve service requests and communicate with stakeholders.
• Efficiency: Establish productivity goals, lead drivers to exceed routes productivity, optimize routes for density and efficiency, manage labor and disposal expenses.
• Employee Engagement: Build a collaborative team environment, coach for advancement, perform other duties as needed.
