Fisher Industries is recruiting a Haul Truck Driver to support production mining operations in California. The role involves operating haul trucks (Volvo/Cat) to move water and aggregate materials and requires extensive travel and living near job sites.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, maintaining equipment, and accurate production reporting. Strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and teamwork with travel and weekend work required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.
• A valid driver's license.
• M.S.H.A. part 46 and/or part 48 or willingness to obtain certification – company will pay for certification.
• Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy.
• OSHA certification or willingness to obtain certification – company will pay for certification.
• Travel and weekend work required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities.
• Maintain heavy equipment in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns.
• Complete production reporting and other documentation as required.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members.
• Be a leader in both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, clients, and legislated safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Safety, Safety, Safety comply with all OSHA and all company policies, procedures, and standards of safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
