Qualifications

• Experience operating a water truck or similar heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL may be required depending on equipment.
• MSHA certification preferred or may be required before start.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.
• Strong safety awareness and awareness of site traffic patterns.
• Reliable transportation and good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a water truck to control dust on haul roads and around equipment.
• Maintain moisture levels on roadways to ensure safe driving conditions.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of equipment.
• Monitor water levels and refill as needed during shifts.
• Report malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or hazards immediately.
• Follow MSHA regulations and site safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other operators.
• Assist with general site support duties as needed.

• Operate a water truck to control dust on haul roads, work areas, and around active equipment
• Maintain proper moisture levels on roadways to ensure safe driving conditions for haul trucks and support equipment
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections
• Monitor water levels and refill as needed throughout the shift
• Report equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or hazards immediately
• Follow all site safety policies and MSHA regulations
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other operators
• Assist with general site support duties as needed
