Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Haul Truck Driver based out of Terrell, TX. As a Mobile Equipment Operator, you will operate heavy equipment and work with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment.

Day-to-day duties include safet y promotions, pre-shift inspections, and clear communication with plant staff. No prior experience is required as training is provided, with strong benefits and outdoor work in varied weather.

Qualifications

• Positive, Team-based attitude
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
• No prior experience required, training provided

Responsibilities

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Safely operate a haul truck, farm tractor, water truck or rubber tire backhoe.
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
• Cleans equipment, clears obstacles in work environment.
