Job Description

The hours/schedule is: Day Shift: Mon-Sat - Between the hours of 6am to 6pm

Responsibilities

1. Operate a variety of equipment at an aggregate facility as directed by supervision.
2. Operate mine-related trucks safely and efficiently for the Upper Sandusky Plant.
3. This is not a CDL opportunity.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Operate haul truck and water truck on-site.
• Load and dump materials correctly and efficiently.
• Keep ground watered to control dust at the plant.
• Follow all safety guidelines.
• Operate other equipment such as excavators, backhoes, dozers, loaders, rollers, forklifts.
• Detect malfunctions and inform supervisor.
• Maintain processing equipment and record maintenance activities.
• Inspect and maintain conveyor, screen, and crusher.
• Perform general repairs including lubrication and welding.
• Perform routine duties as directed by the Foreman.

Education and Experience

• Experience with operating procedures of multiple types of trucks.
• High school diploma or GED.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic knowledge of operating procedures for various equipment.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and perform inspections.
• Proficiency in backing trucks, securing loads, and maneuvering in a busy environment.
• Physical ability to lift objects up to 75 pounds, climb stairs/ladders, and maintain stamina.
• Good coordination and awareness for safety.
