Gregory Construction is hiring an experienced heavy equipment operator to join our Texas team. You will operate articulating dump trucks and support earthwork on large-scale civil projects across active sites.

Qualifications

• Experience operating articulating dump trucks (Volvo, CAT, or similar).
• Background in heavy civil, industrial, or large-scale construction preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and awareness on active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate an articulating haul truck to move soil, aggregates, and materials.
• Support earthwork and site development operations across active job sites.
• Haul materials between designated loading and dumping areas.
• Navigate uneven terrain and changing jobsite conditions safely.
• Communicate with operators and supervisors to keep production moving.
• Perform daily pre- and post-shift equipment inspections.
• Report maintenance needs or equipment issues promptly.
• Follow all company safety standards, OSHA requirements, and site rules.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and active construction environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

• Experience operating articulating dump trucks (Volvo, CAT, or similar) required
• Background in heavy civil, industrial, or large-scale construction preferred
• Strong safety mindset and awareness on active job sites
• Willingness to travel between job sites, including occasional overnight stays
• CDL is a plus, but not required
• Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in fast-paced environments
