Qualifications

• Ability tohandle moderate to physical work, pushing and pulling trolleys up to 50 lbs.
• Basic Math Skills
• Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive work

• Good communication skills
• Microsoft Excel & Word knowledge

Responsibilities

• Check & grade chicks to the quality standard
• Operate with self-motivation and initiative in unsupervised duties
• Build boxes for transport and label orders
• Manual handling when transferring eggs to trolleys and hatchery areas
• Ensure equipment is in good working order and stock of consumables
• Maintain chick & egg welfare during handling and treatments
• Follow cleaning and hygiene protocols as agreed
• Follow safe working practices and wear PPE
• Report accidents and near misses per procedure
• Maintain high biosecurity standards at all times
