Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a production worker to transfer eggs from egg buggies to setter machines. You must consistently use PPE and follow NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines as well as local, state and federal laws.

The role also requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 60 lbs, and working nights, weekends, holidays, and longer shifts in a fast-paced hatchery environment. Applicants should be reliable, capable of working unsupervised, and adhere to all safety policies while

• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Transfer eggs from egg buggies to setter machines.
• Perform machine checks on setter equipment.
• Clean and sanitize machines, floors, drains, baskets, and buggies.
• Follow all company policies and safety guidelines, including PPE usage.
• Carry out all other duties as assigned.
