Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Hatchery Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair incubation, vaccination, process, HVAC, and automated control systems at the hatchery. The role emphasizes safety, routine checks, and proactive maintenance to maximize equipment efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, electrical/HVAC skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of industrial equipment maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain automated/electrical controls for hatchery equipment.
• Perform PMs and repairs to HVAC units and process systems.
• Fabricate/repair steel components and modify equipment as needed.
• Maintain records and initiate work orders in SAP.
• Identify improvement opportunities and participate in continuous improvement projects.
