Job summary

Pilgrim’s Arcadia, WI is seeking a Hatchery Maintenance Technician to install, PM, and repair incubation, vaccination, process, and HVAC systems at the Hatchery. You will work on automated controls and building equipment in a fast-paced poultry production environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of industrial equipment maintenance experience, ability to read electrical schematics, and willingness to obtain confined space certification.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial equipment maintenance experience.
• Willing to become confined space certified.
• Able to wear a full-face respirator around formaldehyde.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, PMs and repair automated and electrical controls throughout the shift for proper operation and to maximize equipment efficiency.
• Test malfunctioning machinery and diagnose/repair issues in collaboration with leadership.
• Maintain SAP, along with keeping proper records on all equipment.
• Fabricate or modify steel components; repair, modify, and construct equipment and structures and initiate work orders.
• Performs PM, maintenance, and repair to HVAC units.
