Select Genetics in Terre Haute, IN, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance role to maintain hatchery facilities and automation equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and oversee safety and biosecurity protocols in a high-demand poultry environment.

The position requires handling heavy equipment, working 6pm–6am in a 4 days on/4 days off schedule, with potential holiday work and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States (E-verify)
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
• Shift: 6pm–6am, 4 days on/off; holiday work may be required

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of facilities and automation equipment in the poult hatchery under supervision.
• Diagnose and repair broken machinery using available tools.
• Follow all biosecurity, animal welfare and safety policies.
• Move heavy objects up to 60 lbs and operate heavy machinery as needed.
• Maintain safe work habits and use PPE when required.
