Select Genetics in Terre Haute, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the poults hatch process. You will maintain facilities and automation equipment under supervision, ensuring safe operation and adherence to biosecurity policies.

The role requires problem solving, tool proficiency, and ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Hours are 6pm–6am, four days on, four days off, with potential holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Role requires general maintenance knowledge and ability to diagnose and repair machinery.
• Experience or familiarity with common maintenance tools is required.
• Compliance with biosecurity, animal welfare and safety policies is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities and automation equipment in the poults hatch process.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE usage; adhere to company policies.
• Transport materials and coordinate with the Hatchery Maintenance Supervisor.
