Job summary

Koch Foods Inc. in Anniston, AL is hiring for a production team member responsible for performing all jobs in the production area, supporting safety and GMP standards, and helping train new hires.

The role requires flexibility to work on any line and to participate in regular inventories and process improvements. You must obtain a hand jack/forklift license, adhere to PPE and safety practices, and contribute to a team that values reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated practice of skills in leadership, communication, flexibility, and resolution of day to day problems associated with production line workforce.
• Excellent demonstrated record of Good Manufacturing Practices, Personal Protective Equipment, Safety and Health Issues, and adhering to any/all company policies and practices.
• Read, write simple addition and subtraction.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.

Physical Requirements

• Constantly stand and/or walk throughout shift.
• Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• Exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C).
• Exposure to damp, wet and cold environments.
• Regularly lift 25+ lbs.
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
