Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Georgia is seeking a plant worker to pull eggs from incubators onto Embrex Machine, supporting daily production in a wet, warm environment.

You will assist in cleaning, backing up egg setters, handling hatcher dollies, and other duties as assigned by hatchery manager.

Qualifications

• Good hand-eye coordination required.
• Ability to read numbers and colors.

Responsibilities

• Pull eggs from incubators onto Embrex Machine.
• Stack down from machine to hatcher dollies.
• Clean setter floors, fan blades, etc.
• Back up egg setters.
• Clean Embrex machine, hatcher halls, and fog daily.
• Discard eggs from egg remover into vacuum system daily.
• Wash boxes on Sunday morning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pull eggs from incubators onto Embrex Machine


• Stack down from machine to hatcher dollies


• Clean Setter floors, fan blades, etc.


• Back up egg setters


• Clean embrex machine, hatcher halls, and fog daily


• Discard eggs from egg remover into vacuum system daily


• Wash boxes Sunday morning.


• Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may

be specified by hatchery manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good Hand-Eye Coordination


• Able to read numbers and colors

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Embrex Certification

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Continuously: standing, walking


• Frequently: lifting, turning, twisting, bending, squatting, pushing, grasping, kneeling, reach forward, pulling stretching.
