Job summary

Duck's Poultry Service in Georgia is seeking a dependable Hatchery Driver (Class A CDL) to join our Transportation team. You will safely pickup and deliver eggs from breeder farms to hatcheries and transport supplies back to farms.

This full-time role requires night/weekend availability, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Starting pay is $30.00 per hour with a quarterly bonus and a comprehensive healthcare plan.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience required.
• Acceptable driving record required.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pick up eggs from breeder farms and deliver to hatcheries.
• Verify counts and maintain route records.
• Handle eggs to minimize damage and preserve hatchability.
• Load and deliver farm supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck.
• Follow safety, biosecurity, and DOT requirements.
• Communicate with management and hatchery staff.
• Transport chicks from hatcheries to farms as needed.
• Assist with live hauling between farms as needed.
• Operate a Moffett when required.

Duck's Poultry Service is seeking a dependable and experienced Hatchery Driver (Class A CDL) to join our Transportation team.

This position is responsible for the safe pickup and delivery of eggs from breeder farms to hatcheries, as well as transporting supplies from hatcheries back to farms. Additional responsibilities may include transporting chicks and live poultry as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up eggs from breeder farms and safely deliver them to hatcheries.
• Verify counts and maintain accurate route records.
• Handle eggs carefully to minimize damage and maintain hatchability.
• Load and deliver farm supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck.
• Follow all company safety, biosecurity, and DOT requirements.
• Communicate effectively with management and hatchery personnel.
• Transport chicks from hatcheries to farms as needed.
• Assist with live hauling of pullets and spikes between farms as needed.
• Operate a Moffett when required.

Qualifications

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays
• Typical hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
