Job summary

CNH Industrial is seeking an Off Site Validation Test Engineer Intern – Crop Harvesting in Mt. Joy, Iowa. You will work with the North America Crop Harvesting Validation team, assisting with tests, learning functional operation of combines and headers, and gaining hands-on experience in equipment performance validation.

This internship offers mentorship, a structured program, and opportunities to contribute to product improvements while traveling to field locations and test tracks as needed.

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications: Associates, Technical, Bachelor’s, or Post-graduate degree in Agricultural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Learn the functional operation of combines, headers, cotton pickers, sugarcane harvesters and how subsystems interact during crop harvesting.
• Assist with machine performance evaluations, diagnose malfunctions, and recommend improvements.
• Operate combines in the field during harvest and on test tracks for controlled vehicle testing.
• Support lab tests to understand component and subsystem validation before field trials.
• Create daily logs, problem reports, and test reports in CNH systems to improve technical writing.
• Travel to field locations with senior test engineers to support validation activities.
• Assist in prototype builds, part installation, and test preparations with product development teams.
• Collaborate in a team-focused environment to gain exposure to equipment function and validation processes.
