Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking a Harvest Maintenance Supervisor at our Tolleson, AZ facility. You will lead the Maintenance Department, ensure asset health through an effective program, and collaborate with operations, safety, and food safety teams to drive continuous improvement.

The role requires supervising maintenance staff, coordinating breakdown and preventive activities, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations while maintaining budget discipline and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Educational background in mechanical or engineering technology (diploma or degree) coupled with Electrician license (or equivalent) is considered and asset.
• Three years supervision experience in the maintenance and/or operation of process manufacturing facility in a fast paced unionized environment is preferred.
• In depth knowledge of a continuous process manufacturing facility and strong experience with equipment overhaul, machining, pneumatics, hydraulics, piping repairs with maintenance of processing equipment is considered an asset.
• Experience driving Preventative Maintenance Systems.
• Willingness to work in shift as scheduled (afternoon shift/weekends)

Responsibilities

• Supervises plant maintenance personnel and is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, controlling, coordinating, scheduling and assigning all work requirements.
• Provide immediate response to operational maintenance concerns and coordinate maintenance and repair work to minimize interruptions in production.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance through compliance with company policies and asset management programs.
• Supervise repairs/projects carried out by maintenance personnel and contractors and ensure quality and deadlines.
• Plans and controls expenditures in accordance with the department budget.
• Maintains safety, health and environmental policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with regulations.
