Job summary

Willamette Valley Vineyards is seeking a Harvest Lab Intern to support the winemaking team during the 2026 harvest, from late August through December if needed. This role focuses on lab work, quality control, and daily sample processing in a hands-on environment.

You will perform juice and wine analyses (Brix, pH, TA), record lab results, and assist with fermentations alongside cellar staff. This internship is seasonal and on-site in Turner, Oregon, with no housing provided.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal communication skills and data management abilities.
• Coursework toward BS/MS in Viticulture & Enology or degree in chemistry/biochemistry/biology is preferred.
• Willingness to learn some Spanish on the job and work long hours.

Responsibilities

• Process vineyard maturity samples.
• Perform lab analyses on juice and wine (e.g., Brix, pH, TA).
• Take daily readings and communicate lab results to the team.
• Assist winemaking staff with fermentations and lab set-up/calibration.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and support sustainable practices.
