Job summary

Agtegra Cooperative is seeking a Grain Operations/Scale Operator for seasonal harvest support. The role centers on weighing arriving trucks and assisting with elevator operations to ensure efficient loading and unloading.

You will engage with customers and fellow staff to keep operations running smoothly. The position requires a diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform demanding physical tasks in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or GED required; 0–1 year related experience acceptable.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Weigh incoming trucks and coordinate with customers and attendants.
• Communicate grain and grade to grain attendants; work with Location Manager to run daily activities smoothly.
• Provide high level of customer service to patrons.
• Partner with Grain Accounting for accurate grain documentation and notify customers about dumping hours and market opportunities.
• Keep grain room, scale area, and equipment clean and in good condition.
• Operate equipment for loading/unloading trucks and railcars; handle piles and transfer/blend grain as needed.
