Responsibilities

  • Execute full-cycle meat processing including humane stunning, bleeding, skinning, eviscerating, splitting and trimming.
  • Adhere to animal welfare standards in livestock handling.
  • Prepare and inspect carcasses to meet quality standards, including washing and weighing.
  • Maintain sharp tools and ensure processing equipment functions throughout shifts.
  • Uphold cleanliness and sanitation protocols across work areas and equipment.
  • Rigorously apply HACCP guidelines and other mandatory food safety standards.
  • Support ancillary barn duties as needed, including feeding and watering livestock.
  • Assist with end-of-shift sanitation and clean-up routines.

  • Execute full-cycle meat processing, encompassing humane stunning, detailed bleeding, skinning, methodical eviscerating, precise splitting, and comprehensive trimming.

  • Prepare and inspect carcasses to ensure compliance with quality standards, including washing and weighing.
  • Maintain sharpness of tools and ensure proper functioning of processing equipment throughout shifts.
  • Consistently uphold cleanliness and sanitation protocols across work areas, including walls and equipment.
  • Rigorously apply HACCP guidelines and other mandatory food safety standards.
  • Support ancillary barn duties as expertise develops, including livestock feeding and watering.
  • Facilitate overall sanitation processes and engage in end-of-shift clean-up routines.
