LCBC Church in Harrisburg is seeking a dedicated kid Ministry Coordinator to lead and support our children's ministry. This full-time position involves engaging with kids, families, and volunteers to create a transformative ministry environment that prioritizes Jesus at the center.

Reports to: Harrisburg Campus Pastor. Direct Consultant: Central Director of kid Ministry.
Location: LCBC Harrisburg.
Hours Commitment: Full-time (40-45 hours per week) with regular weekend responsibilities and Monday night gathering.
Objective: To lead and support kid Ministry in a way where Life Change happens, One Kid at a Time. The heartbeat of your role involves inviting others to serve by vision casting how lives can be changed while keeping Jesus at the center of all you do.
Ability to execute and own all kid Ministry programs, operational systems, processes, and guidelines.
Responsible for implementation of kid Ministry at LCBC location.
Engage in advancing ministry by continually sharing vision of what we do and believe.
Uphold kid Ministry’s values: Engaging Kids, Empowering Parents, and Equipping Leaders.
Drive growth for kid Ministry attendance for both kids and volunteers over previous year.
Understand and maintain a +60% volunteer-to-kid attendance by monitoring weekly.
Have visible presence of connecting with families on the weekends.
Develop new leaders by embodying, utilizing and executing a Lead Small culture.
Identify and grow volunteers to become the primary replacement leader(s) for your position, someone to do your job.
Empower and release kid Ministry leaders, delegating to others to be the Church.
Support your LCBC campus team in the development of the local church community.
Confident and capable in leading, developing, empowering, and resourcing volunteers.
Has organizational management skills and can lead with excellence.
Strong communicator who listens well and inspires others into action.
The kid Ministry Coordinator will meet regularly with the Campus Pastor for planning, goal‑setting, progress updates, and general coaching. A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year.
