Job summary

Castelion in the United States is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development and implementation of wiring harness, cable assembly, interconnect, and test processes for prototype through production.

You will partner with in-house and supplier teams, establish fabrication capability, drive on-time builds with zero defects, and contribute to design for manufacturability and process validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering with focus on wiring harnesses and test.
• Familiarity with harness standards (crimping, routing, strain relief) and test methods.
• Hands-on experience creating manufacturing processes and work instructions for electromechanical hardware.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and ITAR eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain assembly & test procedures, BOM/MBOM, harness flows, test plans, fixtures and tooling specs.
• Develop and support supplier hardware fabrication partners and set quality/test criteria.
• Assist prototype to production transitions with DFM/DFT focus and supplier handoff readiness.
• Develop harness test procedures and validation, including continuity and insulation tests.
• Drive continuous improvement, yield, throughput, and cost reduction using Lean/CI.
